Crème caramel

Crème Caramel or Caramel Custard is a dessert of Spanish origin but with a term French. Delicious spoon dessert prepared with a few simple ingredients, ending with a layer of caramel on the surface homemade. To prepare an excellent caramel creams it really takes very little time and a lot of desire to do.
Ingredients
- 250 gr Milk
- 250 g Cream
- 75 gr Sugar
- Vanilla
- 10 ml Rhum
For caramel
- 100 gr Sugar
- 40 g water
Crème caramel
it is a French, despite being Spanish and is a popular dish in Europe and the world,
known as 'flan' in Spanish-speaking countries.
Preparation
Step 1 – Caramel
Pour the water into a saucepan and add the sugar and caramelize over a moderate heat without ever stirring.

Then transfer the jars for Crème caramel to a baking tray, lined with kitchen absorbent paper; spread the caramel on the bottom of the jars.

With a spoon remove the foam to the surface, so as to eliminate the air and make it more homogeneous.
Pour the crème caramel mixture into the jars and pour the water to the bottom of the baking tray and bake at 140/150 °C for about 30 min.
Step 4
Bake and let cool. With the help of a knife detach the caramel creams from the side of the jar, transfer it to a saucer and bring it to the table.
Conservation:
You can store the caramel cream in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, covered with film.
